Mr. McDonnell joined Coquest in 2018 as Director of Agricultural Initiatives. His career has provided vast experience as a proprietary trader and capital raiser in the alternative investment arena and commodity trading space. Mr. McDonnell began his career as an equity trader in New York and progressed into futures trading in 2002. He co-founded JWM Securities, a limited broker/dealer for the purpose of raising assets for a multi-advisor fund of funds group based in Princeton, N.J., and also founded The Garnham Group, LLC, a commodity trading advisor and commodity pool operator in Chicago, Ill. Throughout his career, Mr. McDonnell has serviced institutional investors, high net-worth individuals and crop producers in alternative investments and price risk management. Mr. McDonnell received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Rollins College, Winter Park, Fla.
